Our Forté is a proudly Canadian company, providing event revenue expertise to non-profits and game-changing event ideation and production to corporations across the country.

We build events with impact and consider the long term value they bring to an organization by increasing revenue and turning guests into donors. With an arsenal of solutions, partners and unique approaches, we create plans for our clients to help revive their event, successfully secure sponsorships and revitalize their fundraising initiatives.  To learn more about our services, click here.

Ashlee Livingstone is our innovative leader and event revenue specialist. As passionate event fundraising and sponsorship strategists working for a hospital foundation, she has seen firsthand the stress events can cause an organization. Everyone on the team gets pulled in, other jobs get put on hold and tensions rise as everyone "tries to get through this.” But it doesn’t have to be this way and in fact, this is how Our Forté was born. We move the (already stretched-thin) staff away from napkin colours and AV quotes, and move them towards revenue-generating activities.

Working with Our Forté allows our clients to maximize funds raised for their cause, save time and be more strategic in their fundraising solutions and approaches; stepping outside of the box and enjoying the work they do and the value they bring to the communities they support.

The best way to get to know Ashlee is over a drink! A combination of sass, creativity and passion, Ashlee is known for her unique ideas mixed with a thoughtful logistical approach, bringing out the best in every event, sponsorship investment and fundraising program. Ashlee keeps the cause in focus while ensuring the guest experience is exceptional to build traction with the event, awareness for the organization and ultimately raise more money for those in need.

After working in corporate events, followed by seven years of event fundraising at a hospital foundation, Ashlee developed Our Forté, based out of Burlington, Ontario.

When Ashlee isn’t brainstorming new solutions for clients, or keeping clients and their events on track she can be found negotiating meal-time with her young son Miller, hiking the Bruce Trail with her wife Kate and feeding her never full (but handsome) golden retriever, Jaxson.

Her poker face may be a work in progress but clients can count on Ashlee for her honesty, integrity and event production skills. Ashlee takes pride in offering clients new solutions while decreasing their stress and work load. Ashlee always says, "A job well done is when a client has an 'Aha!' moment or says they didn’t know they could be so relaxed on event day!"

Event Execution Coordinator

Connor’s creativity and whimsical nature have paved the way towards her passion of planning unique and fun experiences for those within both her personal and business life.

Her fondest childhood memories, of organizing themed parties and special family celebrations are a testament to Connor's natural calling. She has spent the majority of her career working within the hospitality and events industry and has learned what elements are necessary to ensure a great client experience.

She has an Honours Bachelor of Applied Arts in Media Studies - Specializing in Public Relations from the University of Guelph and a Diploma in Media Communications from Humber College. She has worked the last year in the fundraising space, and is familiar with the not for profit fundraising world.

She loves arranging all the little pieces of the puzzle that go into planning an event- and watching all the pieces fall into place on event day. Connor frequently practices the philosophy of “loving what you do", regardless of the task at hand, and always does it with a smile.

Jennifer’s passion for hospitality, travel and photography can only be matched by the love she has for her dog Bunker - a rescue who is bigger than Jennifer herself.

A graduate from the University of Guelph's Hospitality and Tourism program, Jennifer is the queen of organization and knows what it takes to get the job done efficiently and can take a project from good to great.

She is a world traveler and has the stories to prove it, just ask her about the time she biked Bolivia's Death Road, the most dangerous road in the world!
